If you haven’t been living under a rock, you’ve probably noticed the rising costs of food in the past few years. People everywhere are searching for ways to cut down on grocery expenses and household essentials. Personally, one of my preferred methods for saving on groceries is by utilizing Loblaw’s FlashFood Program.
Exclusive to certain Loblaw-branded stores, the FlashFood Program tackles food waste by offering discounted items approaching their best before dates or those not selling well, often at up to 50% off retail prices. At my local store, I frequently come across discounted bulk meat, bags of bread, and assorted boxes of fruits and vegetables. The store actively restocks these items a couple of times a day.
